This angler survey was conducted in 2020 on a stratified sample of resident and non-resident Colorado anglers who purchased licenses in 2019. A total of 6,000 questionnaires were mailed out to 4,151 Colorado residents and 1,849 non-residents. Of these, 1,284 respondents completed the mail-in survey and 361 respondents completed the survey online through Qualtrics, providing a total sample size of 1,645 anglers, and a response rate of 27.4%.
