The objective of this analysis is to provide a comprehensive, scientifically based, assessment of the wildfire hazards and risks within the Platte Canyon Fire Protection District to aid in developing short term and long term fuel and fire management plans.

The University of Northern Colorado, under contract to the National Park Service, conducted an archaeological survey of Ponderosa Campground, Curecanti National Recreation Area, on July 28, 2006.
