Description
In an effort to better quantify winter time particulate matter (PM) and the contribution of wood smoke to pollution events in Fresno, a field campaign was conducted between December 24th, 2003 and January 15, 2004. Over this three week period both coarse and fine daily PM samples were collected at five locations in Fresno including residential, urban, and industrial sites.

Description
Recent work has suggested that large amounts of anthropogenic sulfate aerosol reduce riming efficiency in some mixed-phase clouds leading to a decrease in snowfall rate. This study investigates this aerosol effect in the Colorado Park Range for four winter storm cases in February 2005.
