Description
A cooperative study by the Colorado Division of Highways and the Colorado Division of Game, Fish and Parks concerning deer-vehicle accidents was initiated in 1968. These agencies are in the process of evaluating procedures and devices that may help reduce the number of deer-vehicle accidents, including two types of lighted deer crossing signs.
